It was evident many years ago that our "convenience" oriented world, would be the culprit of an earth that now "screams". The difficult environmental issues that face the world are emerging as top issues globally. Already we are seeing an interest in the technological development of product sources moving in a direction that will yield a better earth for our generations ahead.
As avid recyclers of everything that does not need to be tossed to end up in landfills, anything that does not disintegrate into our earth naturally and safely, we either do not buy or find another use for it.
Whatever happened to a life that did not hold "convenience" so reverently? Toss a stryfoam cup in the trash was never a second thought in recent times. If we do not pay attention to what we toss daily, the problem only exacerbates!
We had to ask ourselves recently about the need to convert our television sets. There are so many Televisions that will be tossed, much like strofoam cups. If the viewing definition of the set with a converter is not acceptable, will there be a massive source of new television buyers?
The problem of what to do with the "excess" that no one wants, will add to the excess of non-biodegradable items that will sit in television graveyards, like we do old airplanes.
Online sellers of vintage items recycle. We have learned that if something is old, but beautiful, comes back into style, or can stimulate our imaginations, use it and move it along. We recycle by selling vintage items online.
